    • If you choose to see Schmigadoon, 2026 Tony Award Winner, Best Musical on Friday night, you will have the opportunity to join:

      • Private discussion with select members of the Schmigadoon cast.

  • An Exclusive Entertainment Discussion Salon, held in the private lounge of one of the Garment District’s most elegant residential buildings

    • Featuring three Broadway cast members, each from a hit musical, accompanied by the keyboardist from Wicked

  • Special discussion and entertainment with the original pianist from Broadway's Tony and Grammy Award Winning Buena Vista Social Club.

  • Welcome Dinner and complimentary drinks with a Broadway Mover-and-Shaker

  • A private visit to the historic New Amsterdam Theatre, hosted by Disney Theatrical Group. The visit will be led by Joe Rosenberg, who helped prevent the theatre’s demolition by securing its designation as a New York City Landmark.

  • A private visit to The Players, our country’s most prestigious club for people in the theatre

  • A private walking exploration of the Theatre District, led by our own Joe, Co-Founder of Save the Theatres Inc., see some of the theatres Joe helped save—and hear about some of the battles that were lost

  • A private visit to The National Arts Club, one of the nation’s most respected institutions devoted to the visual arts.

  • Lunch, with complimentary drinks, amidst the Victorian splendor of the National Arts Club

Cost of the Immersive Broadway Adventure:

  • $3795 per person (based on double occupancy)

  • Single Supplement: Add $1120 for a private room

Deposit: $1,750 per person due at registration

Private visit to The New Amsterdam Theatre, the 1903 Beaux-Arts and Art Nouveau beauty, one of Broadway's oldest operating theaters --- the original home of the Ziegfeld Follies and the birthplace of the world-wide phenomenon The Lion King.

  • We will be guests of Disney Theatricals.

  • Our visit will be hosted by our Joe, who was in large part responsible for saving The New Amsterdam from demolition in 1979.

Private coach transfer to Madison Square Park, from which we will follow the history of skyscraper history as we look at and discuss three buildings which were the tallest in the world when they were built:

  • The Flatiron Building, considered by many New Yorkers to be their favorite building.

  • The former Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Building and its Art Deco Annex, which was meant to be the world's tallest until The Depression stunted its growth.

  • The iconic Empire State Building.

  • Plus, on the site of the original Madison Square Building, the New York Life Insurance Company, with its gilded pyramid top.

Explore the Gramercy Park Historic District, surrounding New York's only private park, led by our Joe, the Co-Founder and former President of The NYC Historic Districts Council.

Visit two mid-1800s Gramercy Park Brownstone Mansions:

  • The Players, the only private club in our country dedicated exclusively to theatre professionals, is housed in a Brownstone mansion originally built for Edwin Booth, the most celebrated American actor of his time, and redesigned by Stanford White, the era’s most renowned American architect!

A walking exploration of 42nd Street, which was once the center of New York's Theatre District - led by our Joe, who was in large part responsible for the preservation of the 7 theatres we will pass.

Visit the former 1915 Eltinge Theatre, whose architecture has been saved (thanks to Joe!) and used as a lobby for a 25 screen cineplex. Hear the story about how the entire theater building, in 1998, was put on wheels and moved 200 feet to its present site.

In a private lounge within the Garment District's most beautiful apartment house - we will have an Entertainment/Discussion Salon during which you’ll be entertained by, and have an immersive discussion with, three Principal actors, each currently performing in a hit Broadway musical, along with the keyboardist who has been with the Broadway phenomenon Wicked since before it opened in 2003!

Joe Rosenberg, Ph.D.

Founder & President, V.I.P. Tours of New York

Joe Rosenberg is a nationally respected architectural and theater preservationist and a passionate advocate for New York City’s cultural legacy. For decades, he has been at the forefront of efforts to protect historic theaters and landmarks, ensuring that the stories and artistry housed within them continue to thrive.

Joe is a co-founder and first president of the NYC Historic Districts Council and co-founded Save the Theaters, Inc. in partnership with Actors’ Equity. He served as Principal Landmarks Advisor to The Showpeople’s Committee to Save Radio City Music Hall and has consulted internationally with organizations such as the UK Theatres Trust and the British Cinema Association.

In recognition of his lifelong dedication, the League of Historic American Theatres renamed their Lifetime Achievement Award The Joseph Rosenberg Award for Lifetime Achievement in Theatre Preservation

Above all, Joe brings history to life through storytelling — sharing not just facts, but the passion, people, and moments that shaped the world of theatre we experience today.

Alejandro Almaguer, M.S.

Alejandro Almaguer is passionate about creating thoughtful and memorable experiences for visitors. Originally from Cuba, he earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Havana and a Master’s in Tourism and Travel Management from NYU, where he was a Dean’s Scholar.

As Executive Director, Alejandro combines his love of the performing arts with years of travel and tour experience to ensure every journey is seamless, personal, and meaningful. He enjoys connecting guests to the stories, people, and energy that make each experience special.

Cost of the Broadway Adventure

  • $3795 per person (based on double occupancy)

  • Single Supplement: Add $1120 for a private room

Deposit: $1,750 per person due at registration

  • Hotel Rooms Are Limited --- Register Early to Secure This Rate

  • If you register early and later change your mind, your $1,750 deposit will be fully refundable until July 1, 2026

  • The cost of this program is based on a minimum of 20 guests utilizing at least 10 hotel rooms. If these minimums are not met by July 1, 2026, the program will either be rescheduled or repriced. In either case, you will have the option to proceed with the Broadway Adventure or to cancel and receive a full refund.

Is airfare included in the cost of the program?

No. Airfare is not included. This allows guests the flexibility to book flights that best suit their schedules, preferences, and frequent flyer programs.

When do we submit our Broadway show selections?

About 3 1/2 months before the start of the trip, we’ll send you a reminder with instructions on how to submit your show preferences.

After I've paid my deposit, is it refundable?

Yes, your deposit will be 100% refundable until the date described above, which is approximately 3 1/2 months before the start of our Broadway Adventure. We will begin obtaining tickets for your Broadway shows at this time.

How do I know which Broadway shows are available?

When is the balance payment due?

The balance payment is typically due about one month before the start of the trip. You’ll receive a reminder in advance.

Is this trip ADA accessible?

We do our best to accommodate accessibility needs whenever possible. If you have specific concerns, please contact us so we can discuss your individual needs in more detail and plan accordingly.

What time is hotel check-in and check-out?

Most hotels have a 4:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out policy.
If you plan to arrive earlier or need a later departure, let us know. We’ll do our best to request early check-in or late check-out, though availability is determined by the hotel.

Can I add additional hotel nights to my reservation?

Yes. During registration, you’ll have the option to add extra hotel nights before or after the program. We’ll coordinate directly with the hotel on your behalf.

Can I request Broadway shows outside the included schedule?

Yes. Additional shows can be secured at an additional cost, as outlined in the Broadway show description document.
When you submit your show selections, you’ll have the option to indicate if you’d like to attend extra performances and on which dates.

Do you offer travel insurance?

While we do not offer travel insurance directly, we strongly recommend purchasing a policy independently. Travel insurance can help protect your investment in the event of unexpected changes due to health, travel disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
